Hi and thank you for being here, 
I keep thinking to myself, I have to quit being an artist, I Love what I do, but the head-games that galleries/museums and with Ai stealing my art is to say the least, very discouraging.  So, what do I do, I open my mouth and tell people I'll help them raise funds with prints or I added my name to a couple more galleries.. so much for I'm going to quit right. 

So, he's the scoop, donating one piece to the Most Holy Trinity Parish (MHT) in Tucson for a print that I re-painted on a Rag Paper with acrylic to look more like a painting.  This is the Benediction I did and the print is in it's orginal size.  That's on September 20th, 2025 for their 50th Anniversary Gala to raise money for the new hall that needed to be torn down and rebuilt, we're getting there with some money for the church hall. 

The second event is also in September for the Diocese for a much higher end Gala which I am donating a 16" x 20" painting of the winner's pet of their Silent Auctions .  The event sold out very quickly as the elite love these events.  I hope that I can do a great job for the winner.  

The third event is for yet another Gala fundraiser in September for "Stand Up for Kids".  These are teenagers on their own who need help getting their lives in order, or a place to life, or something to eat or water, etc.  I am donating a print of my Hummingbird in a Queen Palm - a small print but it's lovely and hoping it raises money for the kids.  This also gets my heart as well because I have taught kids in juvenile jail for the past 3 years, and one cannot help themselves be very humble at some of the kids situations or how they ended up in there.  Maybe this program can help some of the kids not end up in my classes in summer time.

Now for my next news of exhibiting, it's Hong Kong for 7 days at the Emperor's Palace ( I don't think it's an actual palace though) on their Billboard.  I will have 2 pieces, my "Ambiguous Bird of Paradise" and my 36" round Crimson Brahea armada will show on Billboards 3 and 4 in December 2025.  How exciting is that. 

I have 3 others I applied for but waiting for the release of accepted artists. I'll let you know when I hear about it.

I've also signed up for an online webinar to combat the every so annoying and invasive - forced on. us 'Ai' three days of learning how to stop them from stealing my art and how to protect myself from their trainies.  
My theory is just because someone created it, doesn't mean we have to use it.  I'll let you know (hope I remember anyway) what I thought of that class if I don't fall asleep at the three of the 3 hour webinars.. I find them incredibly boring!! haha! wish me luck I stay awake
